Moving on…

My term at Edelman Communications ends in three weeks, May 28th is my last day at the office. I’m thankful for this time I’ve had. If it wasn’t for the support of the fabulous people I work with  it would be a lot tougher to keep going to the office.

That said, I’m leaving and I need to let go and move on to the next chapter. Actually…

…I’ve already started.

For the last two weeks I’ve been working at Taxi Canada. Cool offices (their reception desk is a café!), great people, working on a super cool project that I can’t talk about until it’s public (It’s cool, trust me.) has been an awesome and scary experience.

Turns out working in Photoshop all day long for 2 weeks straight (worked one weekend too) can get boring if you’re not working with a group of fabulous people on a very public project that’s not public yet, winkwink.

Thanks Dave Jung for the reco and for being so flexible and easy to work with. And thanks to Hayden Wood, super-freelancer from New Zealand, for being fun to work with and setting the retouching bar so high. Chris, Ryan, Donna, Keely, Mary and Leah, the team at Taxi, thanks for your professionalism and calm attitude even when the game was constantly changing.

Stay tuned for pics and details of what we were working on.
